Veracruz, March 23, 2011.-  During the first two months, the Port of Veracruz has mobilized two millions 522 thousands of cargo, which represent a 5 percent of increment compared whit the January- February 2010 period.

According to the cargo moment and statistics in the same period, arrived 271 vessels  to the Port of Veracruz , 33 more vessels than in January-February 2010 not including the ones than arrived to TNG, PEMEX, the Navy and forced arrivals .

 Regarding the cargo fluctuation in the Port of Veracruz, the ones that  showed and increment was cars (in tons) grew 34 %, containers 17.35 %  and liquid bulk 6.20 %.

In terms of traffic, imports showed a 1.8 % slight decrease and exports raised 27.3  % compared to the same period in the year 2010. At  PEMEX terminal arrived is vessels in which unloaded 245 thousand tons of fuel, gasoline mainly.
